On September 30, 2023, the American Legion Riders Chapter 382 in Navarre, Florida is utilizing their
resources and volunteers to hold their 3rd Annual Challenge 22 Event. This event is to raise money and
awareness of the 22 veteran suicides happening every day due to PTSD. The American Legion Riders is
just one of the many organizations trying to stop this epidemic among the veteran community.
However, unlike other organizations, we have the power to impact legislative change and bridge the gap
nationally between thousands of organizations already established and helping veterans suffering from
PTSD. The Challenge 22 Events are just one of the vehicles used to create awareness and raise money
for this important cause. During the last two years we were able to partner with local businesses and
raise over $100,000 that directly supported organizations focused on treatment of our nation’s veterans
who struggle with daily life due to the effects of PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
